Almer Candle

Almer takes its shape from ancient cosmetic vessels, small carved objects once used to hold oils and unguents. Its deeply curved silhouette has a broad rim and sides that sweep inwards before tapering towards a spreading foot, giving it the presence of a much larger sculpture within the proportions of an intimate household object.

The pale translucency and warm variations of ivory onyx recall ancient alabaster vessels. Candlelight softens the stone’s appearance, while natural differences in veining, colour and markings make each vessel unique.

Almer’s fragrance combines the brightness of bergamot and neroli with the warmth of cedarwood, cinnamon and clove over a softly smoky base.
